A high-profile figure will lead this year’s Veterans Day Parade as grand marshal, marking a rare public appearance for an astronaut. NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, known for her extensive spaceflight experience, will honor military service members during the event. The parade traditionally pays tribute to veterans and active-duty personnel, blending ceremonial tradition with community celebration. Details on the full itinerary and additional participants remain under wraps, but the inclusion of an astronaut adds a unique twist to the annual observance.
