A brutal street fight erupted in Brooklyn, ending with one participant losing an eye after it was gouged out in a savage assault. Police say the violence was the latest flashpoint in a long‑standing feud between the two men, who have been at odds for months over personal and possibly gang‑related disputes. Witnesses described the encounter as a chaotic melee that quickly turned vicious, with the victim stumbling away bloodied and half‑blind while the attacker fled the scene. Authorities are now investigating the incident as a hate‑oriented assault and are urging anyone with information to come forward as they piece together the motive behind the gruesome attack.
