A new addition to the iconic Brooklyn Bridge has left New Yorkers scratching their heads. A bright pink sign reading "Hello, Gorgeous!" has been installed, sparking confusion and amusement among commuters and tourists alike. The phrase is a nod to a classic line from the 1968 film "Funny Girl," in which Barbra Streisand's character, Fanny Brice, is complimented by a lovesick fan. However, it appears that many people passing by the sign are oblivious to its cinematic roots, leaving some to wonder if the installation was more of a marketing stunt than a tribute to the city's rich cultural heritage.
