In a bid to promote community fitness and give back to the city, New York City Mayor Eric Adams' administration, in partnership with the New York Road Runners (NYRR), has announced the opening of registration for the highly anticipated 2K for 2-K event. The charity run, set to take place in June, aims to raise funds for local schools and community programs. Participants will have the opportunity to run 2 kilometers through iconic New York City streets, with the added bonus of knowing their registration fee will directly support the city's youth. With open registration now available, New Yorkers and visitors alike are encouraged to lace up their running shoes and join the city in giving back to its most vulnerable populations.
