As the sweltering summer heat sets in, New York City residents are finally able to cool off in style. Mayor Eric Adams' administration has officially opened the city's public pools for the season, and thousands of families flocked to the facilities over the weekend to enjoy the sunshine and splashy fun. In a celebratory atmosphere, Mayor Adams, along with New York City Council Member Allan Jennings, were on hand to join in the festivities and mingle with the community. With a record number of pools and improved amenities, this summer promises to be one for the books in the Big Apple.
