Get ready to paddle into summer fun in New York City. This summer, residents and visitors alike can enjoy free kayaking, canoeing, and rowing in Brooklyn and lower Manhattan, thanks to a new initiative aimed at promoting waterfront access and community engagement. Organized by the Brooklyn Bridge Parents group, the program offers a unique opportunity for people of all ages to explore the city's waterways and enjoy the stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. From June to September, participants can sign up for free paddling sessions at designated locations, including the East River and Brooklyn Bridge Park, and discover the beauty of the city from a different perspective.
