Hi everyone 🤍 I feel a little awkward posting this, I usually only read on this thread but I am shooting my shot. I’m a speech therapist at a Title 1 school in the South Bronx, and a lot of my students are non-speaking and use communication apps to speak. I use my iPad all day to model language for them so they can learn how to express themselves. My iPad recently broke, and I didn’t realize how much it would affect my sessions until it was gone. It’s been really hard not having that too, especially for my kids who depend on seeing it modeled to be able to communicate. I made a project on DonorsChoose to try to replace it, and today donations are being doubled, which feels like a rare chance to actually make it happen.
